TRINITAS REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER NURSE CAMP-ELIZABETH, NJ

In August 2023, I had the opportunity to attend Nurse Camp at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, where I was able to get an early look at what a career in nursing could be like. I toured different areas of the hospital, including the ER, cardiology, oncology, operating room, and radiology, while shadowing nurses and learning about patient care. Getting to experience a real hospital environment, observe procedures, and work alongside healthcare professionals strengthened my interest in nursing and gave me a better understanding of the compassion, teamwork, and dedication the profession requires.

One of my favorite creative projects has been designing t-shirts for school and community events. In 2023, I created the winning design for East Brunswick High School’s Relay for Life, which was worn by students and staff throughout the event. I also designed the artwork for the EBEF 5K Bear Crawl, where my design was featured on t-shirts, medals, crewnecks, drawstring bags, and long-sleeve shirts for more than 150 participants and volunteers. These projects gave me a chance to combine my creativity with community involvement and create designs that people could actually enjoy and be a part of.
